Coordination of activities with UAS in Geographical Areas outside ATZ/CTR/FIZs
In order to guarantee the Operational Safety of all users of airspace near the airport, UAS activities must be coordinated within the general UAS Geographical Zones for Operational Safety reasons in the surroundings of Aena aerodromes or heliports. As we are all part of the Operational Safety assurance process, if you are going to carry out an activity with UAS near an airport or heliport, consult the entities with which you need to coordinate at https://drones.enaire.es/.
Aena coordinates internally with air traffic service providers in ATZ/CTR/FIZ airspaces and therefore only has to coordinate with airports or heliports outside these areas. In order to differentiate these zones, the following information is provided so that each UAS operator can complete the UAS activity coordination procedure in accordance with the provisions of Royal Decree 517/2024.
REMEMBER: The official representation of the UAS Geographical Zones can be found at https://drones.enaire.es/. The representation provided here is for information purposes only.
Coordination with the airport does not exempt you from the rest of the coordination activities indicated at https://drones.enaire.es/.
Aena UAS Coordination Map
For information purposes, this map includes the general UAS Geographical Zones of Aena's airports and heliports for viewing in Google Earth (KMZ format). Any UAS activity outside these zones does not require coordination with the airport.
