She has taken the General Management Programme (PDG) at the IESE Business School and also has a master's degree in Economic and Financial Management from ICADE Business School and a master's degree in Financial and Company Management from Madrid Chamber of Commerce.

She held management positions in the accounting and financial auditing areas of Deloitte and in the financial area of the BNP Paribas Group prior to joining Aena's Administration and Finance Department in 1996 as the head of international projects.

From 1998 to 2000 she was the Manager of Aena International and subsequently in 2001 she was appointed the Administration and Finance Director of Aena International. She was the Director of Aeropuertos Mexicanos del Pacífico (AMP), a concessionaire of Grupo Aeroportuario del Pacífico and the company responsible for Aena International's activity in Colombia, where she was a Director of the following companies: Aerocali, SA, concessionaire of Cali Airport, Sociedad Aeroportuaria de la Costa S.A., (SACSA), concessionaire of Cartagena de Indias Airport and Aeropuertos del Caribe, SA ( ACSA) concessionaire of Barranquilla Airport.

She is currently the head of the Coordination and Planning Division of the Commercial and Property Department.
