The Sustainability Strategy for 2021-2030 is designed to tackle the big challenges and ESG (environmental, social and governance) mega-trends, in accordance with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the United Nations Agenda 2030.
It consists of five strategic programmes, focused on meeting the main ESG challenges identified and implemented under 16 lines of action, which in turn are deployed across projects and initiatives.
It includes certain quantitative goals and specific KPIs, which are reported periodically to assess their progress.

Corporate policies formalise the company's principles and commitments in the different areas of activity.
Aena's sustainability policy, approved by the Board of Directors, establishes the principles that guide the company's actions in environmental and social matters. It is developed and complemented by other policies that address specific issues, such as respect for human rights, diversity, fiscal liability, stakeholder management, prevention of corruption and other illegal conduct, or that address specific stakeholder needs and expectations.
